MADRID MEDIATION SUMMIT 2015

MY PRESENTATION:

CREATING THE CIRCLE OF POWER – Charalee Graydon, Elder David Courchene, Shy-Anne Horvorka

WMS2015 participants will take part in an interactive presentation of collaborative decision making for empowering youth in the twenty first Century.

Elder Dave Courchene, a well known international speaker on issues of peace building and Indigenous beliefs will present information about the circle process used by Indigenous people for dispute resolution.

Multi award-winning singer/songwriter Shy-Anne Horvorka (Bartlett) will share material about her song, “Can’t Change the World”.

Participants will watch the video “MY SEEME FRIENDS” written by Charalee Graydon and share their ideas about collaborative decision making by youth and their communities in resolution of issues raised in the video.

The presentation is an interactive experience for attendees of the WMS2015.
