Art in the Hospital in Montpellier

Exhibition des 4 Elements
L´action Culturelle du CHRU de Montpellier
Salon des Artistes Hospitaliers
May 2 – 25, 2012

Montpellier is well known for its excellence in the area of medicine. The Cultural
Centre of the CHRU in Montpellier with its art exhibition, The Four Elements, (May
2 – 25) brings another point of view to the hospital world; a modern vision for the
21stcentury. The concept of health care is vast and demands responses that are adapted
to each patient. Art is auxiliary care highly valued at the CHRU of Montpellier and the
exhibition shows that the patients are the major beneficiaries of this association.

The exhibition illustrates that a breath of fresh air is animating the world of modern
health care and that Montpellier is playing a leading role in changes that are taking
place. At the CHRU in Montpellier, health professionals, patients and those associated
with the hospital are working together to advance patient care.

You are invited to provide your comments about this exhibition and the medical
developments being brought forward at the CHRU.
